Inspired Leadership Two-Day Package Do you desire not only a school culture where murmuring and complaining are replaced with awareness and engagement, but a similar culture in your personal life? Do you find total satisfaction in who you are? How do you want to show up in life? Day 1 of this workshop will create a greater awareness of how you are currently expressing yourself, how to express the greatest version of yourself, and how you impact others around you. Participants will take the Energy Leadership Index (E.L.I.) assessment prior to the workshop. This assessment reveals where a person's energy level is during times of stress and non-stress. Day 2 of this workshop participants will experience powerful conversation skills to create intentional, engaging and powerful conversations and examine habits that create stress. Day 1 - INspired Mentoring for Energy and Engagement: 7 Levels of Energy Mentors will: articulate the difference between anabolic and catabolic energy and analyze how it impacts individuals, relationships and classroom culture. identify how each level of energy impacts engagement in order to achieve desired results. increase awareness of what triggers catabolic energy in order to reduce stress and increase retention. take the Energy Leadership Index assessment prior to the workshop. Day 2 - INspired Mentoring for Communication: Facilitating Powerful Conversations Mentors will: discuss key areas that impact effective communication. learn specific techniques to provide focus and increase engagement during conversations and meeting with students, parents and colleagues. develop strategies for building anabolic relationships. develop skills for observing new teachers and facilitating reflective coaching conversations. learn ways to have difficult conversations that empower all involved. Day 3 - INspired Mentoring for Excellence: Achieving Desired Outcomes Mentors will: learn skills for guiding new teachers in various types of formative assessments to focus instruction and differentiate learning. use various methods to assist new teachers in collecting and analyzing student data. learn coaching skills that support new teachers in learning content standards and designing lessons. reflect on the mentoring process to identify mentor needs for continued growth.
